The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.

SASSA is going to be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it really is alarmed in regards to the large number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The assistance point developed for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it tricky to the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more sources to allow the servicing of all clients and improve access to Social Assistance providers,” read more the agency said.
